Hello! We started ‘Little Planet Foundation’ (LPF) as young students, with a deep interest in wildlife and nature since early childhood. LPF is our non-profit initiative to make a difference to the wildlife and environment. It was this passion which encouraged us to travel to different sanctuaries around the world to pursue wildlife and nature photography as one of the activities to generate awareness. In October 2017 we held our maiden photography exhibition in Mumbai, India.

In addition to the above, our interests involve coding, football, basketball, chess, skiing and diving. As students of the engineering school at University of California at Berkeley and American School of Bombay respectively, it gives us an opportunity to widen our horizon and connect with other students and thought leaders who are equally passionate about conserving the natural ecosystem. As Vice President of Scuba Diving Club at Berkeley (Aryaman), we have been able to closely observe and build awareness about the fragile marine biology.

We are deeply thankful to the leading Indian environmentalist Mr Bittu Sahgal and his team for guiding and allowing us to work with Sanctuary Nature Foundation during breaks from school. We are also thankful to Lokmat Media Groups’ senior journalist Ms Aparna Velankar, Ms Gauri Patwardhan and hundreds of volunteers who have registered on our website for supporting us in our efforts. Lastly, a big thank you to our grandparents and parents, whose constant encouragement led us to embark on this journey.

We sincerely hope that our small efforts will make a positive difference to this world.
